While I do believe there are some concerns about the validity of the numbers presented (most of which I could accept at face value), the underlying theme is that the US Educational system is not well equipped to prepare the youth of America to compete in a global economy. There is plenty of blame to go around but we cannot afford to be apathetic about the situation any longer.
